Selfridge Air Show Area Map

The exit from I-94 East to Hall Road will be closed starting at 7:00 a.m. to the end of the show on Friday and Saturday. Public access to the base will be through the Main Gate at Hall Road and Jefferson and the Air Show Gate on North River Road west of Bridgeview.

These entrances will be open for incoming public traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, heavy traffic is expected on all roads leading to the base all day. The main traffic flow will be outward from the base after the flying portion of the show is concluded at 4:30 p.m.

AIR SHOW SCHEDULE

The Main Gate and North River Road will be open to incoming visitors from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Static displays and ground demonstrations are scheduled beginning at 8:00a.m.and 9:00 a.m., respectively. Flying will begin at 1000.

Do not bring pets, skates or roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, barbecue grills, glasss bottles or containers.

Come early! Car pool!
Bring the family, cameras/videocameras, film, sunscreen, folding chairs, blankets.

PARKING

General air show visitors - south and southwest of the east ramp (individuals are not permitted to remain in their cars or in the parking lot during the show). Recreational vehicles (RVs) - Limited parking next to Bldg 970 (individuals are not permitted to remain in their RVs or in the parking lot during the show) Keep to the left on Jefferson and watch for signs marking the designated parking area. Drivers with handicaps - Parking area west of Jefferson. Keep to the right on Jefferson and watch for signs marking the designated parking area.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

RVs - Use I-94 exit #241 (21 Mile Road). Use left lane entering Main Gate.
Drivers with handicaps - Use I-94 exit #241. Use right lane entering Main Gate.
